Supporting charities affected by COVID-19 is more important now than ever

Now we have secured the long term job security of everyone in the REAL Fundraising family we must turn our attention to doing what we can to help the community and charities affected by this crisis. Our values run deeply through our veins, with this in mind REAL Fundraising is offering the chance to apply for the following measures to any UK based charity or community project affected by this crisis.

Since the start of 2019 REAL have committed over £40,000 in funding to smaller charities to help them continue to do the amazing work they do. We are advocates of doing this as a way to encourage better values within our team members. Whilst having no source of revenue presently means the fund can’t grow as usual we want to offer the entire remaining balance of the fund of £6407 to be available to small charities working to help or affected by the COVID-19 crisis. We know how challenging life is for all charities in the country presently and want to do whatever we can to help.

As Helen Keller said ‘Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much’.

If you wish to learn more about these initiatives or to apply for any element of them please visit the REAL Ethical Fund website. We also wanted to make REAL available any time we can help with any challenge you may presently have. While most people are presently furloughed everyone wants to volunteer their time in any way possible to help everyone through this.
